Hawaii!

In August my friend Brooke and I went to Hawaii. We hit Oahu and Maui. Here's just a sampling of the fun we had!

Hiking with Carol Lamberti and her son Aldo. He needed to do a 5 mile hike for scouts so we joined them. It was a beautiful hike through bamboo forests, weird trees and a hidden pool.

Snorkeling was one of our favorite activities. This is near Black Rock where we saw huge sea turtles!

Matsumotos Shaved Ice...there is a scoop of icecream in the bottom of the dish. So good!

This is the waterfall at the Seven Sacred Pools. We swam in the fresh water and played in the waterfalls.

Ziplining! Here we are in our gear ready to go. The zipline tour was on the side of the Haleakala Volcano and was a lot of fun!

In front of the USS Bowfin Submarine. We toured it when we went to the USS Arizona memorial.

August in Disney and Half Marathon

I know it has been forever since I posted so there will be a lot of pics...of course of Disneyland among other things!



September brought the Disneyland Half Marathon. It was a fun race through the park and then around "industrial" Anaheim. Not so pretty but the portion in Disneyland and California Adventure was fun. I ran with my friend Linda and her friend Donna.

May Disneyland

Bug's life parade...which blocked us from being able to see Aladdin...there's always next month.

This seemingly harmless ferris wheel was actually quite a ride! We were gripping the bars for dear life!

That's an L for "Loser." I actually won at the Toy Story videogame ride. I always lose by 100,000s of points so this was pretty big!

April Disneyland

So this time we convinced Jenn, Natalia and Dave to come with. Michelle and her family met us there and then split off. We had a great time! The water is from Splash Mountain-yep we got splashed!

I've joined the blogging world!!!

Can you believe it? I have joined the blogging world. I always thought blogs were for people to show others how adorable their kids or husband are but I guess it is for other things too...like showing how much fun Disneyland can be each month!
